Austin marched with the Jr High band and Alexis walked with her Girl Scout troop. Alexis also performed with the High School cheerleaders during their "Remember the BlueJays" themed cheer and dance. Alexis and Poms
This past week Alexis attended a camp held by the PORTA Poms squad. She had a fantastic time! At the football game Friday night, Alexis and the other camp goers performed at half time. She starts off behind the instructor in case you have a hard time finding her. I apologize for the beginning of the video, its pretty shaky.

Spring Musical
Alexis' class had their Spring music program this month. They performed the Bugz play. The same play Alexis did while she was in Kindergarten in VA. The music teacher had different dances for the songs though so it wasn't exactly the same.

Running Circles
I made a "tent" for the kids in the living room. They ended up running in circles, going through the tent. It kept them entertained for a long time.

PORTA Choir
Another video from PORTA music department's Fun Fair. This one is the Junior High choir singing "Surfin USA." They even had a little choreography to go with the song.

Jr High Band
The PORTA music department had a Fun Fair tonight to raise money for band and choir. Austin performed with the Jr High band. This song is Play That Funky Music. The sound is a little distorted because they performed in the gym, not the auditorium like usual.

Our Latest Update
Moving day is almost here! We have a huge Penske truck in our front yard that's about half way full. We're doing the rest tomorrow and plan on leaving for Illinois on Saturday. That's if everything goes well with Patrick. He has an appointment in the morning to find out his disability rating. They called today to let him know the board came to a decision. Go thing we haven't left already. He would have had to fly back to meet with the board. Everyone cross your fingers and hope that Patrick is very disabled! :-)
Austin and Alexis had their last day of school today. They came home with "awards" from their teachers. Austin was Best Reader and Alexis was Most Creative. :-) Not suprising. They also had fantastic report cards. So happy with the way this school year went for both of the kids. Hope PORTA is as good to us next year like Groveton has been this year.
As of right now, we're scheduled to receive the keys to our house on the 30th. We're so excited! Everyone is welcome to come visit.
